Pednelissos
Tucked under the Bodrumkaya Mount, the city of Pednelissos was once surrounded by monumental fortification walls, and still today its visitors can walk along its parapets. Among the most distinctive features of the city are large underground cisterns to collect rain water for its inhabitants. For good trekkers, the ascent to the ancient watchtower atop Bodrumkaya will be rewarded by a breath-taking view across the valley and the Taurus Mountains.
